Dearest Ten Speed,
With such a romantic, seductive, and totally irresistible proposal, how could anyone say "no"? You have spoken so well of yourself (oops - bike joke), I feel the need to gear up (aaugh! Another! It's a compulsion!) to a response. First, I know you folks out there are aware of my undying loyalty - I could never shift to another...uhoh, I mean, change to another publishing house. I always plan to pedal my ideas to Nicole and Co. without hesitation. Everyone I've worked with at Ten Speed has always kept my creative juices pumped. In fact, I really got a kick standing around and shooting the breeze with Laura and Summer last year at IRA - then, they went on to treat me and Edith to dinner, where they found out I not only loved margaritas but could handle bars with the best of them. Considering the love of people, books, ideas, imagination, and supportive energy I've always gotten from Tricycle, how could such a union go wrong?
Marriage, you say?
And you wheely, wheely mean it?
